This delicious green juice is made with 3 easy ingredients for the most refreshing and revitalizing drink. Easy, healthy and so nutritious!
This green juice is amazing. It’s just 3-ingredients so it’s really simple to make (okay the clean up is another story, but that’s juicing for you!), and it tastes divine.
You can use as much or as little spinach as you want, though the more the better. But if you’re new to drinking green juices you might want to start with following the recipe exactly and then when your tastebuds are like: ‘gimme more green stuff’ then you can progress to adding more and more of that good green stuff.
Don’t get me wrong we used a fair bit of green goodness in this juice (a whole bag of baby spinach) but it’s still very mild and you know how it is when you’re juicing produce, you use about 10 tons of produce and it creates a tiny glass of juice!
So you might want to add more spinach down the line if you prefer a juice that’s even greener.
This one is just delicious. I don’t think there’s anyone that will take a sip of this and not be pleased.
The look is like: ‘hey why would you go eating your lawn clippings’ but then you taste it and it’s a whole different story!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
Ingredient Notes
- Carrots – don’t need to be peeled necessarily unless they look like they really need it! Usually a quick wash and cutting off the tops and tails is sufficient.
- Green apples – we love Granny Smith apples as they have such a delicious sweet/tart flavor and they’re really juicy too. But any apples you have on hand will work.
- Baby spinach – is great for flavor, but any spinach will also work great, or switch for kale.
How To Make This Easy Green Juice
You will find full instructions and measurements in the recipe card at the bottom of the post. This is a summary of the process to go along with the process photos.
- Wash your ingredients and then chop up your apples and carrots into juicer friendly pieces.
- Starting with the spinach, roll up several leaves into a cylinder shape and feed them into the juicer together.
- Then juice the apples and finally the carrots.
- Stir the juice and serve!
Recipe Tips
Additions: Other ingredients that work great added to this green juice are celery, kale, cucumber and ginger. When you want more variety, just add in some extras or mix things up. If you ever find yourself not loving the taste, add in more green apple and that will fix it!
Make it in the blender: If you don’t have a juicer you can make this in the blender too. Cut the ingredients up even smaller so they’re easier to blend and then blend in your blender until smooth. Then simply strain it through a sieve. Use a spoon to press the juice pulp down into the sieve so that you get all the liquid to come through.
How Long Will This Juice Keep?
Drink it straight away for the best freshest taste! Fresh foods oxidize fast, so I don’t recommend storing it for any amount of time. Just make it and enjoy it right away.
And…..then you have to clean the juicer, but it’s worth it for this delicious juice!

This is a great juice recipe, I like the idea of adding celery for more water content.

In short, this was both delicious and simple.
I found the juice to be lightly sweet without the bitter spinach flavor I was expecting; in terms of flavor and time, this was a GREAT recipe for a first-time juicer! A must try.
